On November 2, 2022, a memorandum of understanding was concluded between the State Service of Veteran Affairs and Non-entrepreneurial Non- commercial Legal Entity Lions Eye Diabet Clinic - Georgia. Given on the mentioned memorandum, the State Service of Veteran Affairs and Lions Eye Diabet Clinic - Georgia agree to closely cooperate in terms of identifying and solving eyesight problems of the veterans of war and defense forces living in Georgia; in particular, the clinic expresses its readiness to provide free primary ophthalmological examinations for the veterans referred to the clinic by the State Service of Veteran Affairs - examination of eyesight acuity (visometry), selection of eyeglasses, measurement of intraocular pressure (tonometry), slit-lamp diagnosis (biomicroscopy), examination and diagnosis of the fundus of the eye, consultation with an ophthalmologist and treatment, consultation with an endocrinologist, determination of blood glucose. Within the framework of the memorandum, the clinic will provide services to the family members of veterans at a 50% discount.

The memorandum of Understanding was signed by Major General Koba Kobaladze, Director of the State Service of Veterans Affairs, and Nino Karanadze , General Director of the Non-entrepreneurial Non- commercial Legal Entity Lions Eye Diabet Clinic - Georgia.
The memorandum enters into force from the date of its signing by the parties and will be valid for a year.
