Director of the State Service for Veterans Affairs, Major General Koba Kobaladze met with the Chairman of the Government of Adjara Autonomous Republic, Tornike Rizhvadze. Koba Kobaladze thanked Tornike Rizhvadze for the benefits for the veterans in the region and for the outstanding support and attention towards them. The Director of the Service spoke about the plans to improve the social and economic situation of war and defense veterans living in the region, to develop and implement priority programs, and to provide them with health services. The parties agreed to continue their cooperation and make every effort to overcome all the challenges that, despite the work done, still face the beneficiaries.

The Chairman of the Government of Adjara, Tornike Rizhvadze, stressed the benefits for war and defense veterans in the Adjara region and said that this is not enough, but together with the government team and the region's municipalities, is working on issues that will improve the social and economic situation of veterans. He also spoke about the implementation of an employment program for veterans and expressed concern over the delay in the program due to the current epidemiological situation. Tornike Rizhvadze said that when approving the budget, they will focus on priority programs for veterans.
