Georgian PM holds next interagency meeting in Gudauri following Bakuriani

On the instruction of the Prime Minister of Georgia, the next interagency meeting was held in Gudauri following Bakuriani (mountain-ski resort base in Samtskhe-Javakheti region). The National Tourism Administration reports that prior to the winter season the Head of the National Tourism Administration Mariam Kvrivishvili, the representatives of the Ministries of Regional Development and Infrastructure and Internal Affairs of Georgia, the Director of Mountain Resorts Development Company Tamaz Gamtsemlidze, Mtskheta-Mtianeti State Attorney Shalva Kereselidze and various state agency officials got acquainted with the final works on the ground.

 

The meeting participants discussed the needs that will be a necessary prerequisite for a successful ski season: the opportunities for arranging additional parking spaces, the ways of loading traffic jams, resort cleaning, interior and central road cleaning were discussed. Within the frames of the interagency meeting, the issues related to the provision of first aid assistance and emergency brigade, sanitary pads, cleaning, parking, solid waste disposal and many more were considered. The members of the Inter-Agency Commission visited various locations in Gudauri, as well as the ropes, ski slopes and got familiarized with various ongoing infrastructure works, for inspection purposes.
