Nikoloz Kvezereli attended the events dedicated to the Independence Day in Akhmeta Municipality

Nikoloz Kvezereli, First Deputy Director of the State Service of Veteran Affairs, attended the events dedicated to the Independence Day of Georgia in Akhmeta Municipality. Before the event, Nikoloz Kvezereli and Alex Pitskhelauri, Mayor of Akhmeta Municipality laid a wreath at the memorial of Georgian national hero Giorgi Antsukhelidze in the village of “Kvemo Alvani”.

 

The swearing in-ceremony by the recruits of the 4th Mechanized Brigade of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia which took place In the village of Matani, in Cholokashvili Fortress, was attended by Nikoloz Kvezereli, representatives of the Kakheti Division of the Regional Management Department of the State Service of Veterans Affairs and local officials, including Alex Pitskhelauri.


Today, Nikoloz Kvezereli and Alex Pitskhelauri solemnly opened the Square of Missing People in Akhmeta and laid wreath at the memorials of the heroes who died for the territorial integrity, freedom, and independence of Georgia.


Various sports and cultural events were held in the newly opened square, as well as an exhibition-sale of products produced by local entrepreneurs was organized.


A concert was held with the participation of local singers and folk-choreographic ensembles, which was finalized by the visiting group “Iberia”.
